RYHealth on Liljaskolans industry day

Liljaskolan in Vännäs, outside Umeå (in North Sweden) hosted its annual Branschdag on September 26th, an industry day designed to help students in grades 8-9 and first-year high schoolers explore future career paths. The event brought together students from four different schools near Umeå, offering them the chance to meet and interact with representatives from various industries, including businesses, municipalities, regional organizations, and more. Students gained valuable insights to inform their high school program choices and future careers.
As part of the RYHEALTH project, Region Västerbotten were on site to meet these young people as well. We engaged them in conversations about health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good habits for a successful working life. Additionally, we offered a digital health quiz on lifestyle habits tailored for young people, in which 189 students and some teachers participated. We also took the opportunity to briefly present the RYHEALTH project in front of all industry representatives who were there to connect with the students (it was about 50 companies and other organizations).
